>> Part ‘a’ is fairly easy to score, Part ‘b’ is a bit length but you will have to cover all the stresses and their stiffening methods.

2021/DEC This was a very popular question and most candidates did well with it, a lot of them scored in the eight to ten marks range.
2018/OCT Not the most popular question in Section C but it’s in the syllabus at 13.8 “explain the stresses that the hull is subjected to and the methods of resisting these stresses”.
